Draw Bench Chain Applications

Use application context to define the load path, chain geometry and replacement evidence required for an RFQ.

Draw Bench Service

Draw bench chain is used in metalworking equipment where the chain transmits a high pulling force along the bench. Industry sources associate the category with tube production, steel mills and other severe pulling duties. The exact chain construction must be matched to the machine rather than assumed from a generic roller-chain designation.

Tube Processing

For tube drawing and sizing equipment, the RFQ should identify how the carriage, mandrel or pulling arrangement connects to the chain. Include the available bench drawing, chain length, connection details and required pull.

Replacement Projects

When an installed chain has no readable model identification, measure the physical chain and record the sprocket. A worn sample can be useful, but measurements should distinguish original geometry from wear.
