How To Specify A Draw Bench Conveyor Chain
A useful RFQ starts with the machine, not a guessed chain number. Collect the bench drawing, chain sample or measured dimensions and the pulling requirement before asking for a final specification.
Measure The Geometry
Record pitch, inner width, sidebar height and thickness, pin diameter and pin length. Measure several pitches when wear may have changed local dimensions.
Define The Load
Provide machine pull information, operating speed, duty cycle and shock behavior. Ultimate-strength numbers from an unrelated catalogue are not a substitute for the actual machine requirement.
Check The Sprocket
Record tooth count, face width and available tooth or pitch geometry. Reusing a worn or mismatched sprocket can undermine a new-chain replacement.
Prepare The RFQ
Attach clear photos and mark unknown values as unknown. That makes the remaining engineering questions visible instead of hiding them behind estimates.
